Our AIRCRAFT

Gville Flyers has two airplanes available for member use, hangared at Gainesville Regional Airport (KGNV):

N971DS is a 2006 Diamond DA40-180. The 180hp Lycoming IO-360-M1A-powered aircraft is certified for IFR, and equipped with G1000 avionics suite and two-axis KAP-140 autopilot. Options include the extended baggage compartment, enhanced 2646 lb. Maximum Takeoff Weight, long-range 50 gallons-usable fuel tanks, wheel fairings, and JetShades for a cooler cabin.

N583PU is a 2010 Cirrus SR20-G3. The 200hp Continental 6-cylinder IO-360-ES-powered aircraft is also certified for IFR flight, equipped with the Perspective by Garmin (G1000) avionics suite, and two-axis S-TEC 55X autopilot. Like all Cirrus SR-series aircraft, N583PU is equipped with the CAPS full-airframe parachute.
